Which Competitive Swimming Pool Starting Platform Is Right for Your Program?
Starting platforms are the single most-requested product we quote. We help coaches, athletic directors, and facility managers match platform height, wedge configuration, and anchor pattern to the pool they already have.
Choosing a starting platform starts with three things: your course (meters or yards), the governing rules your meets follow, and the anchor pattern already set in your deck. Most facilities do not need to re-core the deck — many current platforms can be ordered to fit existing single-post, dual-post, or specialty anchor patterns. Send us photos and measurements and we will tell you what fits.
From there it becomes a question of program level. Performance-oriented “fast blocks” sit near the maximum permitted height with a large non-slip starting surface and an adjustable rear-foot wedge. Age-group and multi-use facilities are often better served by a lower, less intimidating platform. Both can be ordered with custom logos and powder-coated finishes in your team colors.
Confluence supplies and delivers commercial starting platforms nationwide. We do not install or specify projects — we help you select the correct equipment, provide the manufacturer documentation your installer needs, and quote competitively.
